TWOPENCE + LADY is a place where I share a few of my favorite things. Out of a need to redirect my interests and thoughts… TWOPENCE + LADY was born in May 2024. Blogging has been my hobby for over 15 years and it’s always fun to say that you won’t catch ADs flooding this website because that is not what this blog is for. THIS is an OPEN JOURNAL. Hopefully only inspiration, smiles, and connection will be found here.
Previously, The Walden Moon was my longest running blog of 9 years before things shifted and life changed. Significantly. And with all great DEATHS comes a REBIRTH. You can still read and view my old blog at www.thewaldenmoon.com, but I will no longer post there. It is kept… because I cherish all memories.
TWOPENCE + LADY was derived out of a series of synchronicities that morphed from the spark of an idea to change up my energy by changing my blog & instagram… to my friend Audra joking that I should call it “Kelly Explains it All” (Like Clarissa)… to singing a Mary Poppins song Feed The Birds (Tuppence A Bag) by Julie Andrews… to googling the word Tuppence… to finding out that TWOPENCE was a variant of the word Tuppence (meaning the sum of two pennies)… which led me to land on the idea to go with TWOPENCE + LADY as a play on of me being the LADY giving her TWOPENCE aka TWO CENTS… just like Clarissa. Ha.
Then of course, within 24 hours after securing my new website and cleaning up my instagram, I stumbled upon TWO PENNIES in the wild… the lunch lady at the hospital covered me with TWO PENNIES for my lunch (when I was short the cash)… stumbled upon my secret Universal sign walking up the stairs to my office, with my lunch, in an awestruck stride… confirming I was in proper alignment! Bitch, you know I cried.
